Michael & Megan

Our Story...

Michael and Megan met during their junior year at Central College.  Since they were both in the education program, they had several classes together.  After an entire semester together, they decided to finally hang out.  From then on, Michael and Megan were working on school projects, writing lesson plans, and enjoying free time together.  After about 6 months of being "just friends" Michael finally asked Megan to be his girlfriend.  Together they tackled Michael's student teaching semester, graduated from Central College in May of 2014, and took a vacation to Disney World.

 

On the couple's anniversary date to Centro, a restaurant in Des Moines, Michael caught Megan by surprise when he wanted to take a walk through the sculpture park.  Megan was even more surprised when he ended up proposing.

 

The couple will exchange vows in front of friends and family at Celebrate Church on June 6th, 2015 with a reception at Graham Hall on Central College's campus following the ceremony.
